HI Julie, My sons montessori teacher just told me today aparently floral foam contains carcinogens – i still have to check but thought I would pass the message on in case you want to do your research. I had suggested to her a floral foam idea for the school xmas tree and she emailed me with this:"Hi LeilaThanks for the idea. I really like it but I wouldn't use floral foam with children. If you look on the internet it is considered carsinogenic.

WOW! Thank you for passing that on. That foam is leaving the room NOW! I never knew. Not risking it. But I will look into it and research that. I wouldn't be surprised though.

Sorry, I realize this is an old post…but I currently have a 2 year old boy and a 10 month old girl. Were there trays your 2 year old loved? He’s so active!! My girl is much more of a sit and look kind of person!
