Thanks so much for sharing. I'm a bit nervous about starting CC in the fall but excited at the same time. Nice to see so many resources available.

I'm really excited about the Astronomy parts of CC this next year. Are you a tutor again for cycle 2? I know I already thanked you for suggesting CC for us, but thank you again! It's been great.

Thanks for posting this. I will be starting CC in the Fall. I've been homeschooling my kids with Montessori methods for a little over a year, but have never done any other schooling (my kids are 5, 3, 2, 1) I'm excited to start, but since I'll also be a tutor and am a former public school teacher, I am already trying to fill my brain and familiarize myself with everything I can ahead of time! This is incredibly helpful, so I can start buying, printing, and laminating my resources.

I'm confused (after reading your 2012/2013 plans). Are you participating in CC in the the year to come? If so, what purpose does it serve in your homeschooling? (enhancement, core, socialization, etc.) Have you done any posts on how you balance CC with other curricula (I noticed you use a considerable amount of other curricula; would like to, but I don't want to burn me or my children out so I'm always curious as to how others manage the balance.) Thanks much.Blessings,Toni

Thank you! I was hoping that they would have a match up like the one you used for Cycle 1. To my surprise you are already making the connections. I have two boys 5 and 6 joining our girls 8 and 9 next year who were at a Montessori school this year. It is going to be a great transition with the three part cards.

We are not tutoring again next year. We are incorporating My Fathers World, but still using CC. From just being in CC 1 year, they are familiar with many of the topics we are getting ready to cover in MFW. It's great. We have a large homeschool community here so socializing isn't much of an issue. A few of us plan to meet for review games and science projects!

Does the my fathers world coincide well with cycle 2? Thx!

@Tljordan – I have only used the kindergarten level of MFW, so I couldn't really say whether or not it coincides well. I do know MFW does a 4 year history overview, not a 3 year as CC does.

Hi! Thank you for this! I purchased the bundle from Montessori print shop. I also made my own set of Biome nomenclature cards as well and I would love to share it with everyone :)http://sproutinglearners.blogspot.com/2013/09/biomes-nomenclature-cards-for-free.html
