Activities with J-jo are repetitive. He goes back to the same thing day after day (markers in parmesan container and oatmeal canister). It makes blogging about his activities a bit redundant. I’ve tried to include some new things we’ve tried in the past two weeks.
Aside from water and cotton balls, J-jo has also been playing with rice. I just gather things I have on hand for him to play with in the rice.
Sometimes we hide other things like noodles and picture cards in the rice.
I tried the fingerpainting again, but he licks his fingers in between painting. Yuck.
This fits into practical life as well. He helped me with some baking. I think it was biscuit dough (something without egg in it).
I’ve only managed very blurry photos of him trying to sweep. He also likes to wipe up spills.
Open and close.
One to one correspondence of apples into muffin tin.
He is enjoying being read to so much now. Before ten months he didn’t have much interest in books. I am so relieved and glad that this has changed. His favorite books this week are 1,2,3 to the Zoo (which technically puts that in the math category) and Where’s Maisy?
