After our first painting in the style of Wassily Kandinsky we attempted a second one in the style of the Color Study also painted by Kandinsky.

Bear was not really in a painting mood this day and was not interested in painting all 4 quadrants of the paper.  I cut the two quadrants she painted apart. This is the result.  Not quite Kandinsky’s bright vibrant colors.
We talked about painting lines, thick broad lines versus thin ones.  We talked about light hues versus dark ones and how colors ran together and mixed and just made brown.
